An established mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter
to join their team in the Pilbara region. With a focus on delivering quality mechanical services to major mining clients, this role offers flexibility with both Karratha
residential and FIFO options
available.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on a range of earthmoving equipment, particularly excavators and related attachments (rock breakers, buckets, jibs, hydraulic forks)
- Diagnosing hydraulic and mechanical faults in the field
- Fabricating and replacing hydraulic hoses
- Supporting Hi-Rail and plant maintenance (experience ideal but not essential)
- Working on watercarts and support vehicles
- Operating and maintaining a well-equipped service truck for on-site servicing
- Accurately completing service documentation and reporting
- Working across client sites independently and as part of a small, skilled team
- Certificate IV in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent recognised trade)
- Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter in mining or heavy construction
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems; hose fabrication skills highly desirable
- Experience with excavators, attachments, and rock breakers is a strong advantage
- Auto electrical skills are a plus
- Focused on safety, quality, and reliability
- Currently in Australia and eligible for 482 or 494 visa transfer
- Open to both residential in Karratha and FIFO options
