Lead concrete batching and logistics in WA's Pilbara. Manage operations, workforce, pricing, & compliance. FIFO start, then residential.

Position: Operations Manager – Concrete Production and Logistics
Location: Pilbara Region, Western Australia (Initial fly-in fly-out from Perth, transitioning to residential)

Purpose of the Role:
Lead and manage end-to-end concrete production and logistics operations, ensuring quality batching, efficient dispatch, workforce planning, pricing, and compliance. Drive operational excellence in support of mining and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily batching operations, quality control, and materials availability
  • Manage scheduling and logistics of road trains and bulk deliveries
  • Prepare pricing, quotations, and cost control strategies
  • Develop shift rosters complying with fatigue management and safety requirements
  • Ensure heavy vehicle and plant maintenance compliance
  • Monitor operational key performance indicators and prepare performance and financial reports
  • Lead safety culture and compliance initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
  • Heavy Rigid Driver’s Licence (Western Australia) and Construction White Card essential
  • Proven experience in concrete batching operations or similar industries
  • Strong skills in operational leadership, quoting, and workforce management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Command or Simpro preferred
  • Medium Combination Driver’s Licence and remote operations experience highly regarded
Employment Conditions
  • Fly-in fly-out roster 10 days on, 4 days off from Perth for the first 6 months
  • Transition to permanent residential position in Tom Price
  • Vehicle and accommodation provided during fly-in fly-out and residential periods
  • Visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
