LORG Talent is partnering with an established regional transport business to recruit a qualified Auto Electrician for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Western Australia, with potential locations including Karratha, Tom Price and Kalgoorlie.
We welcome applications from candidates based in Australia and suitably qualified Auto Electricians currently working overseas.

- Permanent, full-time employment
- FIFO roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off
- Residential roster: 5 days on, 2 days off

The role
You will carry out electrical diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance across a varied fleet of buses, coaches, trucks, light vehicles and mobile equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing 12-volt and 24-volt vehicle electrical systems
- Completing fault-finding and breakdown repairs
- Diagnosing faults in wiring, ECUs, lighting, alternators and starter motors, and carrying out appropriate repairs or replacements
- Installing and maintaining vehicle electrical components and accessories
- Performing preventative electrical maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle air-conditioning systems, where qualified
About you
- Australian Auto Electrical trade qualification or equivalent international qualification
- For UK and Irish applicants: a relevant City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, IMI or equivalent qualification in automotive electrical work
- Relevant post-apprenticeship experience
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, buses, coaches or mobile equipment
- Current driver’s licence
- Air-conditioning experience, with an ARCtick licence highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
