Transport & Logistics
Transport & Logistics Recruitment
Australia's supply chains depend on a steady pipeline of skilled tradespeople and drivers — yet many of the roles employers need most sit outside the standard skilled visa pathway. Lorg Talent recruits permanent, work-ready professionals across Transport & Logistics trades and driving occupations, sourced locally and internationally.
Where standard 482 sponsorship isn't available — as with truck and bus drivers — we work with AHWC Immigration Law to arrange DAMA or Company Specific Labour Agreements, unlocking pathways most agencies can't offer.

Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMA)
Truck and bus drivers are in high demand — yet neither sits on the standard 482 occupation list.
Lorg Talent, working alongside AHWC Immigration Law, solves this through DAMA and Company Specific Labour Agreements, giving employers a genuine visa pathway for the driving occupations that matter most.
What Is a DAMA?
A DAMA is an agreement between the Australian Government and a designated region allowing approved employers to sponsor overseas workers outside standard occupation lists, with concessions on salary, English requirements, and age limits. Western Australia's state-wide DAMA and South Australia's Regional Workforce DAMA both include Truck Driver and Bus & Coach Driver occupations, unlocking a pathway that doesn't otherwise exist for these roles.

Why It Matters
DAMA and Labour Agreements are negotiated by region and by employer — accessing them requires the right agreement in place first. Lorg Talent works directly with AHWC Immigration Law to confirm whether a suitable DAMA Agreement is available already and where necessary, negotiate a Company Specific Labour Agreement covering truck drivers and/or bus drivers.
The real reason it matters:
DAMA's & Labour Agreements enable employers to access a ready made pool of truck drivers or bus drivers already in Australia who will happily commit to staying with them for at least 4 years where sponsorship and a pathway to permanent residence is on the table!
How It Works
Eligibility Assessment
01
AHWC assesses whether an employer's region falls under an existing DAMA covering these roles.
02
Agreement Pathway
Where none applies, AHWC negotiates a Company Specific Labour Agreement.
03
Candidate Sourcing
Lorg Talent sources qualified drivers matched to the agreement's requirements.
04
Sponsorship & Onboarding
AHWC manages visa sponsorship end-to-end.
Why Lorg Talent
Few recruitment firms have the immigration expertise to navigate DAMA and Labour Agreements. Operating alongside AHWC Immigration Law, we offer transport & Logistics employers a pathway to driver talent that doesn't exist elsewhere in the market.
