LORG Talent is partnering with an established national coach operator to recruit qualified Bus & Coach Mechanics for permanent, full-time opportunities in Canberra and Sydney.
You will work on a modern fleet of long-distance coaches, carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs within a workshop team.

The role
- Service and repair buses and coaches
- Complete mechanical and electrical diagnostics
- Repair engines, transmissions, braking and suspension systems
- Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Complete breakdown repairs and fault-finding
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records
- Work safely and support the workshop team
About you
- Australian Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic trade qualification, or equivalent international qualification
- For UK and Irish applicants: a relevant City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, IMI or equivalent qualification in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
- Relevant post-apprenticeship experience
- Experience working on buses and coaches
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
