The role
Depending on the venue, your responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing daily operations and managing shifts
- Supervising staff and coordinating service across departments
- Handling guest enquiries, feedback and complaints
- Supporting rostering, staff training and development
- Managing cash handling, opening and closing procedures
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating supplies
- Maintaining venue presentation, safety and responsible service standards
About you
- Experience as a Duty Manager or hospitality supervisor
- Confidence leading a team through busy service periods
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and an organised approach
- Relevant hospitality qualifications highly regarded
- Relevant venue licences or certifications, or willingness to obtain them before undertaking the applicable duties
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to live and work in regional Australia
